This completed kitchen and utility project in Basingstoke, Hampshire, began in late 2025. Our clients wanted to make better use of their dining room space and create a kitchen that worked more effectively for everyday living, while also incorporating a separate utility room for additional storage and practicality.
Our clients wanted more than a facelift. They wanted a kitchen that actually worked: better flow, more prep space, and a proper utility room to take back some practical breathing room from the main kitchen. So that's exactly what we designed.

Rethinking the layout from the ground up
The existing layout was the real problem. Once we relocated the sink beneath the window, the whole room started to make sense - worktop space opened up, the natural flow through the kitchen improved, and the design had a clear logic to it.
From there, the project grew into a full turnkey renovation. Wall removal, plastering, electrics, plumbing, flooring, decoration, and complete kitchen and utility installation - all managed as one coordinated project, so our clients only ever had one conversation to have.
The finished result
The kitchen is finished in light grey Strada cabinetry with J-profile handles, paired with Carrara worktops and Amtico flooring throughout. It's a contemporary kitchen that feels calm and considered - bright without being stark, practical without sacrificing any of the detail.
The utility room adds a layer of functionality that the original layout simply couldn't offer, keeping the main kitchen clean and uncluttered even on the busiest days.

Bespoke Kitchens Designed Around Everyday Living
A successful kitchen design is often about making practical improvements that change how a room feels to use. In this project, adjusting the layout improved flow through the room while also providing the clients with more usable workspace and a cleaner visual finish.
As with all of our projects, every detail was planned around how the clients wanted the kitchen to function, ensuring the final result felt natural within the home rather than simply replacing what was already there.
